ITEM: engine block, 92k
DESCRIPTION:
This engine block was taken from a 1991 318is with ~92k miles. The pistons and crankshaft are not included. The cylinder linings all show original honing marks. There are no scuffs or deep scrapes. The cooling passages are clean, but there is some electrolysis around the water pump opening. There is no serious damage, and it should be easy to clean up. The housing exterior has some minor rusting, but no deep pitting, and all the mounting points are intact. The main bearing caps are included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
