ITEM: steering rack, 196k

DESCRIPTION:
This power steering rack and pinion was removed from a 1999 BMW 328i convertible with ~196k miles. This is the 3.2 ratio rack and not the 2.7 ratio version. The input shaft splines are clean and undamaged. Rack travel is smooth and quiet with no binding and no irregular play. The housing has minor oxidation with no pitting and no cracks, and all mounting points are intact. Tie rods are not included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
